CITIES HAVE NEW AND WILY SCHEMES TO SEPARATE YOU from the money that you need for children, their tuition, shoes, clothes, your rent, heat, water, natural gas, car and insurance payments, college tuition. Outrageous taxes and gasoline and high VAT taxes (10% in Calif,) on everything we buy.a.) CHECK POINT CHARLIES - The COP stopping all those cars in line will tell you they're seeking drunks but they only find one drunk per hundred people. What they DO FIND is expired drivers' licenses and no proof of insurance giving them the right to take the car, impound it for a month. 3 k to get it back! If you don't have the moola to get your own car back ---then, they get to sell your car for top dollar and keep the money! Late april, 2011, City of Los Angeles announced that it would STOP the checkpoints (ostensibly to seek drunk drivers,) where cars are confiscated. (Never for DUI always for lack of insurance, lack of current registration or driver's license, but that car is taken and it's 3k to get it back!) Reason city GAVE for stopping this horrible practice, cuz they admit many working stiffs with multiple kids border on starvation is that when a refugee loses the family car, loses the job, that family will be made homeless. To reg a clunker here in calif can be hundreds, never mind a decent jap sedan! Then to insure, a thousand a year. So poor folks, always a little bit behind, were taking the brunt in a way that out nazi'ed the nazis putting yellow stars on jewish sleeves and so many people being homeless on street with kids, unwashed, starving, jobless ain't purty. PLUS, WELFARE has to step in. So last month they made the announcement. HERE IS MY POINT: YESTERDAY my son and daughter-in-law are here in the VALLEY unloading plywood from his truck into a nearby house and they watch a cop pull a mother over, check papers, make her and the paralyzed daughter in a wheel chair ALL get out of car, and they call the tow truck and take away her car leaving her on street. If she'd been drunk, they'd have taken her away in manacles so it was insurance, reg or tags. So THE NAZIS LIE, they are still up to their tricks. b.) TRAFFIC LIGHTS TURN YELLOW FOR A FLASH, CAMERAS NAIL YOUR ASS. Yep, those cameras and lights are being gamed! Yellow isn't the usual four seconds, it's ONE second, a time slot that is guaranteed lethal. (Cars in line brake in panic, WHAMMY, all of a sudden like --and children go lurching through the windshield,) all in the pursuit of quick profits for City Hall. Well, JUNE 2011, they tell us they're GOING to stop, for the oddest reason. Folks were tearing up the tickets when they got them in the mail. And no judge could state definitely that they were guilty, even if they came into court so DMV did NOT prosecute the

c.) SORRY, THOSE ARE YOUR HOUSE TAXES, CHUMP! NUTTIN' YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT EVEN IF YOUR HOME LOST VALUE. BOO HOO, right? Expect the city to play violins? You who bought property recently during the price boom, you got suckered twelve ways from Tuesday! State's got you by the ruby begonias and the jugular! So what if everybody's house went to half its former value? SO FRIGGIN' WHAT? Your taxes were predicated on what you paid, obviously the value of that lovely roof over your family. Now you're claimin' a value nearly half that former amount? Quelle HUBRIS! That's what they'll tell you when they turn your petition down but go in armed for bear. First, you have to find comps from real estate agents for your street... second, when you fail to get satisfaction from the accessor, only a lot of ferocious scrapping at the city accessor's office can get you your HALF TAX, lots of APPEALS, the whole nine yards. Make it hard for them. Go to the newspapers too, informing millions of other houseowners of your fight and their rights! HEHEHE. City'll put a hit out on you!
d.) THE NEWEST RIP OFF is EXTRA PENALTIES on any bldg or PROPERTY OWNED by you. So what if you already pay house taxes. Now suddenly your house is worth an extra l00$ a year. HAND IT OVER.
Yeah, it's A TAX ... a little one if you don't worry about buying clothes and food. Problem is, the guy with a thirty million dollar office building also pays l00$ a year. But in the final analysis, the not very politically correct, equal-opportunity taxman seems to favor the friends of the Mayor not Joe Six Pack.e.) TICKETS FOR EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING - Say you have tools in your truck and you're parked on a city street, you're probably a contractor! What, no CONTRACTOR's LICENSE? We're ticketing you for a FELONY of fixing homes and not having a license and city state number. Claim you're a handyman only before the judge, and if that's the case, why that box of tiles? Those oak flooring boards, HUH? The solution is, if you're fixing someone's house, park in their driveway! Tell home owner that's the penalty for not using a posh, costly contractor. Know what the penalties are for this one? HUGE FINES! LIFE KILLERS. HUMAN BLOOD! ARM AND LEG!
f.) Parking tickets - used to be $5-10 then $40-400 (handicapped parking space violation)...and doubling weekly! Wonder how many million $$$ are collected each week?
G.) Water use violation - only certain hours will using a hose or sprinkler be allowed and neighbors can turn you in! So get this, all around you, folks who hate you? With a new POWER TOOL and anonymity! OH BOY!
H.) Dept of Water & POWER allowed to raise power rates 11 perCENT in ONE YEAR< 5% the next, happening in Los Angeles right now with 20% unemployment. And Our City Hall got 147 MILLION dollars from the DWP days before the first hike. A public utility is a total cash cow for the city. In California you can bake or be chilled but in DETROIT when they do it, people DIE.
I.) COSTLY CITY RUN FEE KICKBACK SCHOOLS/ CLASSES as PUNISHMENT. In court the other day, I observed a pregnant mother of two children weeping. She'd been given a kitten by a neighbor, two months later, neighbor woman comes over, takes a slice of pizza from the table of this girl. Two children stare unhappily. Mother says, no, we just have enough for us. The lady grabs her KITTEN that she'd given them two months earlier. LEFT WITH KITTY.. By then her kids loved the kitten, young mother walked over to other unit, TOOK KITTY Back. . Neighbor accused her of theft, girl was arrested, taken to court, never got a chance to tell her side of it. Cop's report was the only evidence, from a crazy neighbor. She was forced to take 25 classes in "HOW NOT TO BE A CAT HOARDER" over 25 weeks, cost to her and her kids (no husband just her and the 2 babies.) was 900$. When she was fired from her job at Target, for going to a class a week, on a work day, when she couldn't make the last $250 balloon payment, she was told pay up or you go to jail for 20 days. The plaintiff a crazy neighbor had stolen the cat. And had the nerve to call the accused gloating 'I have your kitten.' catMummy goes over, enters house, takes the kitty. Her punishment 1500$ worth of court-mandated cat hoarding classes. 52 classes over a year. (To a school l0 miles away and woman is disabled, on fixed income of 600$ a month for rent, food, can barely walk as she's 70 yrs old. ) In this game, PLAINTIFF PERJURED HERSELF, SET UP the real cat owner, lied, told the cop 14 pages of lies, and that was the whole case. Nothing else was entered in the court room. Except what mendacious vicious thief told the cop. Each woman got a chance for a trial with witnesses but D.A. warned each, 'you'll go to jail for two years if you lose." So neither woman had the nerve to go to trial. Court/ Judge can bleed you dry. Neighbors can allege anything they want. The former neighbor a drunk with long record, latter Satanic church, believes all humans are satanic, only her CHURCH will assure her of 'the rapture' where she joins jesus. Last I heard, 10 commandments say 'thou shalt not bear false witness.'
J.) STEALING VEHICLES BY ANY MEANS THEY CAN. This one is straight out of Moscow. The cops do entrapment on young entrepreneurs who offer low cost MOVING SERVICES involving trucks. They lure you to a 'job'. Now get this, the people involved who pretend to need moving services are plainsclothes cops. Then they use bogus charges to seize your vehicle. I was scratching my head, so my hippie nephew told me more about this "Yeah, a buddy of mine ( with whom I was doing moving gigs with on the side) he's also my computer mentor, was out by Venice with his truck answering a couch moving gig on Craigs List. The people load up a couch then insist on riding with him in the cab. Huh? well ok, no charge for that) so he hauls his hand truck & moving gear out of the front seat... next thing he knows, he's under arrest for "taxi without license"???!!! The cops won't answer his questions, they know it's a dirty bust. But here's the cui bonum: They impound his truck for a mandatory 30 days @ something like $100/ a day. He does not have the money to bail it, they sell it at auction even before the court date. They lie about when. where the hearing is so that he misses the first hearing. I go to the second hearing. The appointed Public Defender (public PRETENDER, I call it,) admits it's a corrupt system. He also doesn't allow either of us to speak nor does he utter a peep to the judge concerning the truth. My friend who has zero criminal history is compelled to take a plea deal. ON HIS RECORD FOR LIFE. To top it off, when they auctioned the truck off, they didn't get enough to cover the fees & what they wanted to get for it... (there has to be a backdoor arrangement with the towing yards & the city) so to this day he is being hounded by collectors for a thousand dollar 'towing fee' and this will absolutely destroy his credit rating. So now he's living in a van. Our moving business got squelched with one of the vehicles gone."
Anita's answer to this is THIS BUSINESS IS NOT A GOOD ONE. TOO FICHED BY COPS. Try THIS OTHER ONE, EASy WORK, A MILLION A YEAR. DRIP EMITTER TECH. Also, if they take your vehicle, later want 2000 for storing and towing, always register vehicles in a name that 'reads to the quick eye' as similar to your own on your driver's license or whatever proof of identity you give the DMV upon registering that 20 yr old clunker...but ONE VOWEL off so they cannot charge you an arm and a leg for car-burial when the car dies or is impounded, whichever happens first. As my own cars are all over 2 decades old, and for years I drove with no up to date tags, license, no registration at times, just going back streets to the market in daylight when I could see traffic behind me for a mile...this worked for me for decades. But one trip to market at night, boy oh boy, I could not see that cop unit behind me. Yard wanted 3000 to get my 150$ car back, (I paid that in 1996). Then to top it off, I got a 900$ towing bill but in all cases as name was spelt one 'front vowel' changed from E to A or A to E, nobody could hang that bill on me. Not that I have a credit rating to begin with....
J. )THE CRUELTY TO ANIMALS RAP or the KITTY CAT RIP OFF - The courts/ city make big money on those mandatory classes you have to take if caught with too many dogs or cats. The court also presassumes that cruelty is involved when it can be 'just feeding the wildlife or feral animals.' The 52 week class called "CAT HOARDING" costs the poor cat lover 1500$. Their kickback encourages the CITY to make bogus arrests on any complaint which happened to me. I feed feral cats. Neighbor came in my garden, stole a lactating kitten from its mother, an hour later I went to her and got it back. She pressed charges, trespassing and cat theft. In comes Dog Pound on a search warrant, manacles me, searches my house, not a single cat in the house. So they found the neighbor lied but charges were already pressed, so I still got sent me to court. Cop Never told judge plaintiff lied, that there were no cats, nor did public pretender 'defender'. One never gets to say a single word on one's own account. See (THE BLONDI SYNDROME ) I got sentenced to 52 weeks mandated classes a 12 mile round trip when I have no car, live on 600$ a month total social security/ disabilty money, can't afford food as it is, no SS recipient can get food stamps. Meals on wheels are 8$ per meal. Van Access for disabled if 5$ a ride. I qualify for both can do neither. Bus stop is 2 miles from home, my damaged spine so bad I can barely walk length of house without getting out of breath requiring open heart surgery. They worry about cruelty to animals? HUH?? What planet is this gov from? So I want to start a website called STUFF THE GOV.ORG Next buck I have is for that. It's 4$ a month, haven't got it. I couldn't pay reg/license/ insurance, city took my car, auctioned it off, billed me for the tow. Can't drive for 7 yrs. THANK YOU L.A.
K. Licenses, Fees, PENALTIES - Want to start a little cottage industry? Your office is in your house? Only if you pay them your first born child! Want to build an office, turn a GARAGE into office, and put car outside in a car port? Architectural plans and city permits required. Visit of inspector. Whole thing is REAL COSTLY. Ditto a lanai in back yard, sorree, your family will sit in the full sun. If a city inspector can LOOK over your fence, see a lanai, he can CITE YOU unless you maintain it was grandfathered in when you came. Oh another thing, PENALTIES on having a lush front garden? City can cite you, if you can't tear out your treasure, they come and do it and charge you thirty grand. So any IDEAS out there? I'd welcome tricks on how to get around these obstacles to business and pleasure, their restrictive, hand out greedy measures.
L.) OH THAT's a VEGIE GARDEN IN YOUR FRONT YARD OR CURB? Hey, the CITY considers that THEIR FRONT YARD as they gotta LOOK AT IT! SO THEY FINE YOU TIL THE LAST RADISH!
