PLANT THE SEED IDEA OF A HOLISTIC COALITION IT IS THE WAY that you CAN MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR

NEPTUNE is in AQUARIUS sign of the NEW AGE. NEPTUNE, harbinger of spiritual ages, ruling imagination, charity. Uranus rules 'New Age Mind methodologies or therapies that liberate.' While the famed, once every 177 years URANUS/NEPTUNE conjunction has been going on for a decade now, and while there are fifteen degrees between them, the power of it is still FRESH.
There's still time to DO THE MOST DHARMIC BUSINESS OF ALL: UNLIMITED TEACHING, NOT JUST of YOGA---Not just an occasional living room workshop, or HEALING FAIRE, or Psychic Faire, not just a living room University but a regular schedule of varied, exotic workshops with a New Age flavor, done in many venues, exploding out thru the city facilitated by a CENTRAL group of LECTURE AGENTS, and lecturers, people you know now, all of them experts in their field, whether it's plastering walls, faux finishes, wallpapering, cooking or holistic massage.
Without any cost to the producers of these seminars, this collection of bright, educated healers could move as a holistic, New age LEARNING ANNEX that did not involve renting of property or printing of catalogs.
This Coalition would be as portable as each teacher with his own set of flyers, wheels and backpack. Seminars, lectures or workshops would be given in VENUES that want them...which ask the COALITION for them...for instance at posh, sunny resort hotels in the country, or on cruise ships, where people really have the leisure to 'get into' this kind of work.
Workshops could be given in borrowed venues, private homes, corporative settings, churches and other informal lecture sites, including cafes and coffee shops, but none should involve CAPITAL INVESTMENT, buying or renting a building although one might be nice after years of successful and profitable work. Meanwhile the Coalition could stay 'light,' and make workshops available to the cafe, resort hotel, cruise liner or church that wanted the event, for all participants to profit through.
Such a dharmic business could make a great deal of money, not only for the Lecture Agent (the Holistic Coalition) but for each lecturer or healer, and for the owners of the venues.
This concept is so portable that it can be done with the same advertising, in many cities at once and it can be done with the same ad copy, or 'flyer technology', which saves money.
Often lectures or workshops would be given in non-costly VENUES: Chiropractic offices, the backroom of a cafe, or in a bookshop. One must find commercial real estate that is currently empty. It is possible to find unrented sections of offices or not yet leased buildings on really fine corners of the city, which are centrally located, and use them for a single evening.
A friend of mine has a dress store that is empty. He's been trying to lease out for months. The newly built 7000 sq. feet store could have been rented by the nite for small amts until it leased or sold. There, one could have created a series of evenings until it was rented. The owner was agreeable to it. I even thought of opening a New Age Metaphysical University there.
Imagine a NEW AGE TEACHING COALITION that would have SEMINARS, gatherings and classes THAT ACCELERATE THE NEW AGE in sites all around the country. Such a COALITION would be different from other holistic workshops or Learning Annex type groups in that it would bring the MOST advanced, high tech, on the fringe NEW AGE solutions to healing the body and mind, avant garde solutions to standard diseases/ body or mind dysfunction's and human problems. Perhaps a holistic naturopath would send his technology, if not with the Dr himself then with a trusted apprentice. Of why couldn't you create meetings around teachers like renown iridologist/herbalists, who do not charge at his lectures but who will go anywhere that a dozen people can set up and give an illustrated talk.
Such a coalition should consider new ways of advertising. A 3 minute video on the Cable Guide, saying "would you like a gifted holistic healer to speak to your church?" or SEMINAR Posters on phone poles that promise Utopia, with text written in a zippy, peppy, hyperbolic way. Nothing quiet. Very splashy and 'sure of itself.'like "NEW AGE LECTURE on Herb/Diet to prevent aging."
The AMA won't let holistics use the word HEAL in reference to disease if cure is herbal or vitamin or holistic. So one circumnavigates that. "How to Write/research and sell Articles about Holistic Healing" or "How You Can Become a Holistic Healer and make $800,000 per year Without going to college." or "LoveAholics Anonymous Group" or "Success in Love Seminar." and always, an easy to remember phone mail box number. Another idea, flyers slipped into every holistic magazines at every healthfood store in cities where educated, evolving people live. Or small wall racks at healthfood stores and metaphysical book stores, filled with flyers. Healthfood stores flourish if the Coalition flourishes as coalition educates, creates more purchased HFS products as well as MORE CLIENTS.
Healthfood Stores will let a lucite rack be pinned to their walls, and let their bulletin boards be used for flyers.
POTENTIAL CLASSES: I. HEALING CAREERS. 'Training the Trainer' type classes. Career empowerment. "How to do Shiatzu Massage and earn l00$ an hr." "ROLFING" or "LEARNING PRIMAL SCREAM, DEEP TISSUE EMOTIONAL RELEASE WORK MASSAGE".
II. JOB PREPARATION/LICENSING - There would be classes that help students pass the massage license test. Teach people how to make money outside of the 40 hr. work week doing alienated labor for big corporations which is fading anyway in the recession.
III. MENTAL EMPOWERMENT CLASSES: "NEGOTIATING IN RELATIONSHIPS" "NEGOTIATING IN BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS." "HOW TO THINK YOUR WAY RICH." "Prosperity Consciousness" "How to Get the Most out of Yourself". Groups that do EST/FORUM like work. Negotiation with relationships. "RELATIONSHIP TECH" or "LOVE TECH" "How to Win in Any Discussion."
IV. HOUSEWIFE CLASSES;holistic New Age food preparation, exercise, yoga. "HOW TO HAVE A BABY" and 'THE DO IT YOURSELF CHIROPRACTOR" with 12 standard body straightener positions or kriyas. "How to Make Money at Home with Your Stove."
V. TWELVE-STEP WORK, ADDICTION AND DENIAL but done noveau. As in "LoveAholics Anonymous" to help women and men stop choosing toxic relationships. Or real addictions: "How to Quit Caffeine" or "How to Quit Alcohol/Cigarettes/Chocolate." How to Get out of an Additive Relationship". "Dealing with toxic parents/family/ children." "How to Conquer Insommnia". 'HOW TO GET FREE OF SLEEPING PILLS' " Denial in relationship" "STOP MAKING destructive relationships". "Over-Eating problems." etc.
VI. HEALING SPECIFIC MALADIES- VISION IMPROVEMENT, The Bates Method. Usually the Bates Method used by Aldous Huxley. "THROW AWAY YOUR GLASSES." or "Midwivery/At Home Deliveries" Or, "The HOLISTIC BABY" " Holistic Weight Loss" "HIV: GO POS TO NEG".
EVENTUALLY such a peripatetic group of teachers could grow into: MAIL ORDER GURUS on video tape, a CABLE T.V. HOLISTIC HOUR MAGAZINE, ON LINE GURUS BY MODEM, a 1-900-HOLISTIC phone line, a community resource for employment, like a job personnel bureau, a newsletter that would really be a MAIL OUT ADVERTISING with an order sheet inside. This would go out to a mailing list held in a CENTRAL DATA BANK. This data file would also contain lists of all client organizations or private client/individuals, all possible venues, all on site personnel or support techs, and of course the names of the many talented teacher/lecturer/healers who would contribute all the data in the first place.
This HOLISTIC COALITION could easily become a country healing resort, with attached farm. From there it could become a FOOD Co-op or communal store/gallery/cafe that would also have a large room for seminars/ films/videos or celebrations with many table/chairs so halls need not be rented for celebrations.
What about the NEW AGE SINGLES PARTY market? I've seen a LA SINGLES party at a large restaurant in Redondo, overlooking ocean at sunset, with a live jazz combo. The venue and snacks were free as cafe got the bar tab. The LA Singles girl, Jill, made $5,000 for that one party charging l0$-15$ a head. We'd do it with holistic lecturers featured, doing a 45 min. talk.
I've seen Dr. Pat Allen ("GETTING TO I DO" do the SUCCESS IN LOVE group seminars, 5$ a guest, 110 people there and she does one a week, spun off a book and an L.A. radio call in show. Actually a simple fellow did it all. Dr. Pat gets the 150$ an hr privates as a family counselor, psychologist, he earned everything from the group, produces the radio show and got a % of the book.. So find yourself a shrink who talks to people easily.
For a long time each of us has wanted to find ways to moonlite to the tune of MORE PROFITS, a second biz, a second biz card, but many of us are stuck in non-dharmic businesses because we haven't found a way to make the dharmic one pay off! This HEALING COALITION will faciliate our making money with New Age seminars because it acts as a LECTURE AGENT, and makes ads/flyers easier and cheaper. Whatever class or teaching one contributes generates money for the center, with enterprising teachers earning part of the profits. The Coalition gets half when it gives venue, ads, mailing lists. If individual handles that, split should change. Fees paid to Coalition by students should be deductible on taxes as the Healing Coalition should be a tax exempt, non-profit foundation. The money that healer/teachers generate should be used for the GROWTH of SCHOOLS, CLASSES. Salaries to the administration would be merited if they produced ads, accounting services, facilitation at class meetings.
Each of us should discuss the POSSIBILITY of such a mobile university with the many freelance, independent healers, speakers and psychologists each of us knows. SPORES of the coalition would travel as counselors relocate in cities across America, dedicated to teaching. Hold this idea in your minds. A HEALING COALITION. Immediately you will notice that people appear that could be the teachers, also the young people to do the work will be attracted to you and volunteer to do the lesser job of administrating its running.(perhaps young women caring for infants, stuck at home). PLANT THE SEED. IT WILL GROW. Call it the Tao Institute Or the Shambala University or NEW AGE lecturers. I'd like to call mine NAM-U. New Age Metaphysical University.
