THE GLUTEN VOICE. SCRATCHY, UGLY,  GRATING UPON THE EARS!

Do you know anyone with that annoying CRUSHED VOICE? Sounds like a parrot squawking,  sounds like bicycle tires on gravel. The little bit hoarse voice person does not have a melodic, clear note of Low C or D on a piano. No. There is no musical, rich, cello-string timber. The voices of the damaged vocal cords are gray, dry like straw, about as melodic as hissing tires going over a road built of gravel. The sound is a foul invasion to the ears. I hear it on reality TV all the time, (cheap shows, creative hosts but not really a professional voice, and the host is combined with average citizens as the show's focus.) All squawk like parrots. Now, oddly,  I DO NOT hear hoarse voices so much in films as no one on a big budget production would hire the gravel voice. EVER!

What causes it? *(Aside from Janis Joplins' quart of bourbon a day) Well it is definitely something offending the body, and that toxin lands in the throat as damaged SOUND comes out of the throat. My logic and sensitivity to my own body and hoarseness tells me that it is partially the AGING VOICE (hitting me at age 68,) but in younger people that I see in reality TV, I know it is MUCUS. The toxins and chronic inflammation that attack a mucusy area of the body creates atrophy, muscle damage. Swellings go with inflammation. Bacteria and toxins are the enemies of the vocal cords. What your sound is telling us is that you are having chronic inflammation there. It can be from 'talking for a living' but the site itself is reacting to something. The main cause of mucus is allergy to gluten.

The solution is twofold: first: giving up all wheat or flour products as this is the super producer of not eating real food. It's the giver of MUCUS, GLUE in the entire body. The offenders would be pasta, bread, burritos, noodles and ramen, chips, pancakes, do-nuts, pie, baked goods. Quit them now.

Treatment: Avoidance: Eliminate wheat products from your diet, in order to lead a normal life. With proper medications and constantly being in touch with your doctor, you can  occasionally eat wheat products.
