Life places us in strange places. Working for monsters, or working with them. Married to devils. Raising kids who are squashing US! Paying off homes we wish we didn't live in. All kinds of strange places!

Sometimes you can take a hike, get a divorce, get loose, just pick up your suitcases and relocate. Sometimes you can't. But, if you have to work for, mother or be married to some person who's a louse, donít suffer. Have fun while you're stuck there. Not thinking about the pain dissolves the chains. Remember the old Eskimo saying 'Only pain ennobles man." (I guess that's why they stayed in the Arctic.) If an Eskimo can endure a lifetime of seal blubber and frozen nose instead of moving south, you can endure what bad weather you created in your life.

If you have to stay with a miserable mate as there are children involved, or if you're the man and you have to take care of a woman and kids just because they are yours, consider it vital research for your philosophy of life, which you share in conversation or writing, teaching the new generation. In other words, squeeze the sour juice out of your own lemon and show us all how to make lemonade or be the kind of writer who warns, admonishes us about falling into traps.

But use your new found experience at dealing with bad  choices and stressful people, for forming viewpoint on how they these events/ peple got that way, or how to prevent other parents creating a monster, or use it for developing a methodology for surviving which you will share.

Don't fight these petty tyrants around you. God sent them into your tent for a reason! Put the bugs under a microscope and experiment. Let's see what they'll do when given sweet words, harsh words, jokes, lofty philosophy, training films or witty abuse. See what works but at all times, handle yourself like an angel.

That's what you are, an angel stuck on earth in what is perhaps a Ďnot so funí lifetime but by being good, polite, you acquit yourself elegantly and attract a better karma and a more amusing lifetime NEXT time around.

Remember the careers of the great comedy stars. SUFFERING can be FUNNY. You'll get more stories (and laffs) out of your tragic destiny than you can shake a stick at! The Erma Bombecks and Nora Ephrons found being stuck with idiots quite profitable.

Some people are so serious about a lifetime 'wasted' that they continually brood, "My life is a failure,  It's time wasted."  Well, TIME is an illusion. Forty hours or forty years, illusion both. You have to put one foot in front of the other if you work or if you're at home, if you're in Paris with a million or in Hoboken on the dole. Stick it out. Don't wear a wrist watch on your heart. A whole lifetime? No problem. You have more lifetimes in front of you. The Hindus say we have as many lifetimes as a tree has leaves. The point is to handle yourself in a gentlemanly manner and pay off your karma in this one.

Man is the slave of love. Being a slave is good. It means serving someone you love, paying off karma that way, hard work, no time off for mischief or addictive fun that you really didn't need. In your esclavitude you will MAKE THE MOOLA and fork it over to the family. You'll smile. You'll watch what your mate does with that cash. Hubby booze with the boys? A pipe, a bag of costly tobacco?  Wives buy Cashmere turtlenecks for herself ?Or lipsticks at ten bucks each, lined up by the bathroom window. We will see what we will see. Character is destiny. Yours, hers. The divine comedy. Itís this shape in this lifetime. Maybe you can't get away from her and she blows all the money on herself. But next lifetime, it could be different. You get as many lives as there are leaves on a tree. I've been regressed to see TWO OTHER LIVES that were in this last thousand years making 3 lives total in a thousand years. Life isn't stingy. Flow with it. Swimming the river the way it' is going is not exactly giving up your ethics, betraying your beliefs is it? And, if resist the temptation to 'collect injustices,' i.e. pout over your beefs, you'll be in a bright mood and then, if you still want to jump ship, it'll be easier, you won't stumble and drown. Bad moods and hasty, hysterical exits cause mistakes and permanently alienate the people we're leaving. Leave gracefully.

Remind yourself of these truths. We are in the realm of illusion (maya). Time is an illusion. We are eternal. All the junk that makes your brow scrunch up is only wonderful and useful experience. Grist for your MILL. Learning, knowing, recognizing are acquired skills. You're doing real well in that department. It's not a total loss. Congratulate yourself that misery chose YOU first but second, be happy.

The Master Jules taught, 'be permanently blissful and then, you attract luck." How?" people would ask him. He'd smile and answer, "Just Fake it til you make it. Assume the pose."

We can do that! His site, URL ABOVE, has much info on how to talk to a jerk. Read it.
