RAINY SEASON is COMING SOON FOR  HOMELESS in HAITI.
Impermeable Tent Fabric is needed. They have the  poles/ wood of all kinds from rubble

The RAINY season is coming to HAITI, and millions of people will be sitting out in that rain under a yard of dripping cotton. IT would be so great if we who have homes, roofs, kitchens could locate manufacturers who'd send them waterproof fabric. The idea is that each one of your family and friends might possibly research who makes this impermeable tent fabric ..online. Then, we talk to pastors, give potluck parties in teh church basement, jazz concerts, church bazaar fund raisers, make lots of noise in local papers to raise the money that the manufacturer requires to ship l000 meters of their impermeable fabric to Haiti. AT WHOLESALE PRICE, not RETAIL. (Though some cEOS may want to donate) If each of us sends this article http://www.luckinlove.com/tent.htm  to our lists of chums, the THOUSAND METER RACE would get going before the RAIN STARTS POURING DOWN!  A thousand meters of tent fabric! This is a no-hard-work endeavor. We let our fingers do the walking at google, search on impermeable fabric, tent, tepees & find out what they want, basic per yard cost, raise the money to pay the CEO if he wants pay. Like --I must know ten clients with enuf moola to make a hefty pie slice donation. You might know same, so some of our sendouts are to THEM to let'em know what we're thinking. Some primary research is necessary and sharing the data with this whole national network of THOUSAND METER RACE email chums so make a list in your browser so the message travels backwards to all who U reached. Each of us can send NEWS/HITS out to our lists, all have the results of each other's findings on tent fabric manufacturers. PS I'm betting the manufacturers gift the yardage for the good P.R.

In ten seconds, I found:

Maybe you chat up those manufacturers, talking over the HAITI HOMELESS with rainy season headed their way, finding out what their factory asks for a thousand meters. Then you engineer brainoids, how to stick it onto wood frames? STAPLES? NAILS? IRON ON TIES on the INSIDE? Or does it just fit like a hat in the case of a teppee?

This is what struck me watching BBC NEWS today --I saw a Haitian peasant BUILDING these frames out of saplings, but naturally nothing to stick over it! They know the rainy season is coming!

So, if you wanna play HAITI RESCUE with us, IF YOU have google skills, put in search terms tent fabric in quotes + manufacturer ummm impermeable fabrics + manufacturer

I used 'singular tense' on word 'manufacturer' otherwise you get these LISTING BUSINESSES, totally out for profit. They list multiple manufacturers and they give NO INDICATION of where the factory is, cuz they want you to consult the compendium guide as a buffer so they can make a %. Which you can do, begging the owners of said group to hand over our emails to the fabric factory.  They are an agent intermediary group as many factories don't even have email! CHINA has some great manuf. of this water proof stuff. It comes as silk, nylon, many other forms, too. With your skills, it would take you a minute to dig into this research.

RAINY SEASON DANGERS- TORONTO SUN REPORTS: PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Then there is the rain.Since the Jan. 12 earthquake, most of this city’s inhabitants have taken to the street to live. Even as bodies break down under the rubble, the living are pounded by heat that starts in the morning and lingers into the night. But they know — as cruel as it seems — things may get worse.Because there’s been no rain since the disaster happened. And once it comes, locals fear the refuse filled streets will become rivers and the open fields that have become tent-cities, will be turned into muddy wastelands. An official for the Canadian Centers for Disease Control, which has 225 staff working on the Haiti earthquake response, said rain could offer relief, as well as more grief for an already traumatized population. “The upside to rain is that if it’s collected and treated, then you’ll have a source of clean water,” CDC spokesman Matthew Reynolds responded in an e-mail.“The downside is that, particularly if there is a lot of it, you could have rain-induced flooding.” New pools could also become breeding grounds for mosquitoes that transmit diseases such as dengue fever and malaria, he added. The yearly rains don’t start until April or May in Haiti, followed by the hurricane season. That is the calendar relief agencies are working under. “It’s something that’s hanging over our heads every day.” Niurka Pineiro, from the International Organization for Migration, has told the Financial Times of London. “It’s a race against the clock because May is coming.”
