Can you live on a dime when there's only a dime to be earned? I did from 1969 when I left a foreign country with four babies in tow, until the last child left home in 1998, almost 30 years of raising kids, so I write about this theme a lot. FRUGALITY SEMINARS, FREE ONLINE.
I raised 4 children alone in pricey Los Angeles, on the posh west side. I rented a cottage, grew SOME of my own food and never got a real job, (I took a look at children crying in DAYCARE & decided not to! I also never turned a trick through I KNEW a few tricks, the kind that enables frugal living.

Others may live in dreamland, spend like crazy, eat out, dress expensively, buy costly cars, get deeply in debt and possibly are not prepared for an AMERICAN DEPRESSION. It is possible that they and their children could be evicted,be homeless, go hungry, living in the streets begging.
There are only two ways to survive a disaster of this magnitude. Readying COTTAGE INDUSTRIES now and doing some intensely industrious, well chosen ENTREPRENEURIALISM, and some smart, 1800's FARMER STYLE, SURVIVAL LIVING.
NO JOB that exists today -- to the highest paid lawyer or Wall Street banker, can be considered immune from the coming plague of JOB-DISAPPEARANCE. NO RENT or MORTGAGE payment will definitely be PAYABLE if inflation continues and consumerism wanes and joblessness follows.

Cache, a women’s retailer is closing 20 to 23 stores this year.
Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, Catherine's closing 150 stores nationwide
Talbots, J. Jill closing stores. Talbots will close all 78 of its kids and men's stores plus another 22 underperforming stores. The 22 stores will be a mix of Talbots women's and J. Jill.
Gap Inc. closing 85 stores
Foot Locker to close 140 stores
Bennigans Steak and Ale - closing hundreds of restaurants.
Wickes Furniture is going out of business and closing all of its stores.
The 37-year-old retailer that targets middle-income customers, filed for
bankruptcy protection last month.Levitz - the furniture retailer, announced it was going out of business and
closing all 76 of its stores in December. The retailer dates back to 1910.

Home Depot store closings 15 of them amid a slumping US economy and housing market. The move will affect 1,300 employees. It is the first time the world's largest home improvement store chain has ever closed a flagship store.

WHAT WILL THIS BAIL OUT DO? Your grandchildren will be slaving to pay the two trillion off. Each person NOW owes the FUTURE 17,000$ Children too. It'll be much bigger IN THE FUTURE.
THE AMOUNT OF AMERICAN CITIZENS JOBLESS will be astounding. People trapped
in apartments with no FOOD GROWING CAPACITIES will either find food
giveaways, steal, or be homeless and eat out of trash cans. That is entire
families. The weak, American family with its stretched multi-city structure
will not support members thousands of miles away.Ask grandpa for a check. How many months will he send one?
THIS IS A COMING HOLOCAUST. All sorts of small changes might make the difference between starving to death and living through it to rise another day. For instance, it SHOULD be incumbant upon restaurants to save all uneaten food for homeless swarming back door of kitchen but it is now with health codes, not possible. FOOD will be wasted. Tons of it, edible, cooked, thrown away. Homeless people could feed their pets with that food. Perhaps a PETFOOD WAIVER should be allowable. Homeless say 'it's for my pet' and then the food can be given. BUT LEGISLATION must precede these small changes in CUSTOM and LAW.
Rumors of huge concentration camps being built out of old ARMY bases have surfaced in last two decades but now there are photographs all over the internet of trains with breathing holes, cubicle jails you can train in, little quadrants assembled into big jails. UTAH is being readied for this. MARTIAL LAW is being implemented already. Six black, military copters patrol VENICE BEACH in L.A. up and down, back and forth, as we speak. WE KNOW now that the GOV felt this coming. If so, why did they let the oligarchs run economy into ground, steering toward the ROCKS of NAFTA, GATT?
