THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE BASQUE PEOPLE
Basques are said to be the remnants of Atlantean man. Noah's famous Flood killed most of the people of Atlantis, a few fellows were with their sheep up in the mountains and a few others swam, floated to Europe, hung on to logs. The survivors and their sheep settled in the Mountains of SPAIN -- HIGH UP as they remembered what BEING IN THE LOWLANDS could do!
It is said that the Atlanteans were fabulously good at machines. Even though it was thousands of years ago, they were said to know how to fly, had motors, etc. Someone pulled a battery out of some ten thousand year old tomb, chambers for the acid, everything...proving they knew about things like electric energy. I tend to believe it. You can take a Basque Baby out of the crib, show him a car motor and he can change the oil, figure out all the moving parts by just playing with them once!
These advanced prehistoric men did something wrong however, and their continent got sunk by God. (Kind of what He does to the Turks every single year and what he did to the KILLER Muslim REGIMES in INDONESIA with the Big Christmas Tsunami. Christ's birthday. Muslim tragedy. That fact isn't lost on me. 911 was Jesus real birthday. Google it.
Now, I mentioned Turks. TURKISH PEOPLE have done a LOT of cruel things to many people. THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE was once the biggest in the world, that means they killed their way across Europe. Old habits die hard. In 1915, they killed a million Armenians in one week. Today, to stay in practice, they kill Kurds. Turk prexy Erdogan has 80,000 political prisoners on ice,he's torturing them, not feeding them and says he's not gonna keep them locked up as he doesn't want to pay their food bills for l00 years so he's executing them all. So God punishes them with more quakes than California and because of their miserable contractors, worse ones. It's SAID. What do I KNOW?
Back to Basques. AFter Noah's Flood, Basques settled in a few isolated villages, far from the center of Atlantis which of course, was under water. They lived in PIONEER villages, living WAAAAY on the edges of Atlantis, near what is Africa's top left side, near the same deadly ocean, maybe fishing for a living.. In fact, fishing is how these people escaped the flood and got over to EUROPE's southernmost left side.... The Tsunami blew them west. They survived by swimming or boating. They went to the peaks of the Pyrenees mountains because it was the only thing hanging out of the water. Obviously, they had very few women with them because the day of the flood, the women were not fishing. Basque men obviously survived SOMETHING dreadful. Their hair stands on END to this day. Like wire.
These people aren't literary at all, they can't spell, they can't write and they are zip for conversation but they are smart about money, sheep and machines. Remember, this is no artistocratic Atlantean. They sunk. It is the racial strain of a peasant man, Atlantean country boys, pioneers ...lived in the sticks, way out on the edges which is why they didn't sink....they're country bumpkins. Trust me, they ain't city folks. How do I know? For amusement, they lift HUGE BOULDERS. Anyone who lifts rocks had better get a life. They also play fronton or jai alai where they stand on a court with a solid wood ball coming at them at about 150 miles per hour. Dumb as ditch carps.
Being that their imagination is limited, they invented carnal relations with sheep, but that has a lot to do with the scarcity of women in their first centuries on dry land in Spain. They are masterful and happy sheepherders and in fact, those that came to the new world are in the four corners area, New Mexico/Nevada --herding sheep to this day.
Basques are tough as nails. They cry easily on the inside, but NEVER on the outside. They will not flinch if you tear their fingernails out. As for me, a survivor of marriage to a Basque and having a low self image in the wake of this event, I charge slightly more than AIR for my work as an astrologer and love and marriage counselor. 15$ a half hour. TWICE what my basque hubby gave me every morning saying 'this is to buy groceries and pay for the taxi to and from the market." Eight bucks or a hundred pesos. Oh well, it gave me something to do daily besides writing my novel.......We didn't have internet writing in those days.
